Lift & Escalator Replacements

The need to replace a lift, escalator or moving walkways often comes from a building’s change of usage or an increase in passenger numbers. It also occurs when projected modernisation costs are higher than those associated with complete replacements.

As part of a full replacement project, Jackson can undertake the safe and complete removal of the existing equipment and its subsequent environmentally friendly disposal. The removal and installation of new equipment in all cases are always undertaken behind hoardings to protect the building’s occupants and the Jackson engineering team.

A complete replacement project is generally less disruptive than a full modernisation or in-situ escalator modernisation. The process is also largely faster but may require more building work. It does however, provide you with the latest energy-efficient systems and features with everything being perfectly matched and designed to your requirements.

Jackson regionally-based, Sales Engineers work with you, your consultants and architects to achieve exactly the lift, escalator or moving walkway replacement you need. Our Sales Engineers are all non-commission based and happy to help at the concept stage, to ensure your project goes smoothly from the start.

The lifts, escalators and moving walkways we design, supply and install are all fully compliant with the regulatory standards at the time of installation.

For details of the regulatory and compliance standards Jackson work towards, please see the Accreditations page on this website.
