Vehicle Lifts

As city parking is becoming increasingly difficult, property managers and owners are looking at ways to give vehicle access to basement level floors. However, it is not only a solution for existing buildings, but also for new construction, particularly when the construction is taking place on an existing inner city brown field site.

In city centres where commercial properties are being converted into premium residential apartments or an existing residential property being fully refurbished, the addition of a car lift to a basement floor has now become an essential option for car parking.

Vehicle lifts are also used in city centre commercial and hospitality buildings, where a basement is present, to allow delivery and service vehicles access to load and unload where roadside parking is an issue.

Most vehicle lifts use hydraulic drive technology, due to the weight of a loaded lift car and as a result of the limited travel, generally no more than one-stop.

Jackson partner with leading vehicle lift manufacturers, to deliver robust vehicle lifts, designed specifically for each location and customer’s requirement. Vehicle lift designs are undertaken at our Charlton offices.

Nationally, Jackson has teams of regionally-based, experienced Sales Engineers who will work with you to assist with recommendations and the specifications needed to achieve what you require.

Jackson also undertakes the modernisation of vehicle lifts, including those originally installed by the major international manufacturers and vehicle lift specialists.

The lifts we design, supply and install are all fully compliant with regulatory standards at the time of installation.

For details of the regulatory and compliance standards Jackson work towards, please see the Accreditations page on this website.
