Friendly, local service… nationwide
The Scottish Highlands is a mountainous region of northwest Scotland known for its dramatic landscapes and sparsely populated areas. Although the Highlands have a considerable number of villages, there are more heavily populated areas in the region including Inverness, the capital city of the Highlands, and larger towns like Oban, Thurso and Ullapool.
With the region having such a dramatic landscape to attract visitors, in 2023, tourism accounted for 15 million overnight visitor stays and provided a significant contribution to the local economy.
Although medium and high-rise buildings are few and far between in the Highlands, Jackson actively supports customers who own, manage, and operate passenger and goods lifts in low rise buildings. We provide a reliable and high-quality lift maintenance service undertaken by directly employed engineers who all live in Scotland.

Thurso
All routine maintenance visits in Scotland are scheduled via our national database. Using company-supplied tablets, our engineers can view lift status and log performance data in real time. Day-to-day management of our field team and general enquiries for Highland contracts are handled through our Glasgow office.
For all our customers – particularly those in the tourism and healthcare sectors – having a reliable, area-based maintenance team available 24/7, 365 days a year is essential for peace of mind. Jackson engineers provide exactly that, working closely with clients to ensure every lift is safe and dependable for its passengers.
