  • Lift Modernisation

Goods Lift modernisation for Marks & Spencer

It is not only passengers who depend on lifts for floor-to-floor access, but also staff moving goods. Back-of-store lifts play a vital role in keeping customers happy and maintaining a store’s sales volumes. For Marks & Spencer, moving stock, particularly garment rails loaded with clothes, is ongoing throughout the trading day.

Along with other tendered Marks & Spencer projects that Jackson have been working on is the full modernisation of a back-of-store top-drive traction lift and the complete overhaul of each of the lifts’ manual landing entrances. The modernisation project was undertaken at the Marks & Spencer store at Cribbs Causeway Mall in Bristol and managed and completed by the Jackson team, operating from our Bristol Offices.
