Situated in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, Lister Hospital, operated by the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, is a general and acute 566-bed hospital. Following a major investment in 2014, Lister Hospital became a specialist hospital for emergency and inpatient care.
As a business with strong family values, Jackson are proud to have retained the lift maintenance contract for the 27 lifts at Lister Hospital. This has been achieved because of the competitive tender submissions we have made over the years and the ongoing levels of reliability and service our engineers have provided the Hospital.
The lift maintenance contract with the Trust is administered from the Jackson Head Office and Regional Centre in Charlton, London. Our work covers monthly maintenance visits, repairs and call-out services, to ensure that multiple lifts of various ages and manufacturer types are available for patients, staff and visitors. The Jackson policy of employing knowledgeable, locally based engineers, who live within easy travel distance to their work, helps to ensure a fast response to calls for assistance if they should occur.
