One of the many lift modernisation projects, successfully completed in 2021, took place at 9 Devonshire Square, a five-storey Grade II listed building that has been extensively refurbished by architects, JRA.
The lift modernisation project required Jackson to modernise a group of three lifts that serve all five floors, including refurbishment of the existing, bottom-drive traction motors and replacement of the old lift controllers with new Kollmorgen lift controllers. Away from the motor room, Jackson engineers completed full lift car relines with architect-specified finishes along with new landing and car doors, car operating panels and landing signalisation, all manufactured to aesthetically integrate with the building’s colour scheme and style.
