Jackson confirms ongoing collaboration with Meteor Löher

Jackson, the UK’s largest lift, escalator and cradle maintenance company, are pleased to confirm their collaboration agreement with Meteor Löher. The agreement relates to the manufacture of Löher’s escalators and moving walkways to the Jackson UK specification and quality requirements.

The two organisations have worked successfully on many projects in the UK, relating to site-specific bespoke escalators and moving walkways manufactured to Jackson quality standards. Examples can be found in multiple locations including House of Fraser department stores, Stansted Airport and various regional shopping centres.

Philip Rudd, Jackson Sales Director, quotes:

“We are pleased to be collaborating with Meteor Löher for the manufacture of Jackson heavy-duty bespoke escalators and moving walkways of the type routinely called for within the UK market. The Jackson design ensures manufacturing fully complies with relevant UK and EU Standards. This makes them ideal for existing buildings by providing a 25-year life span as an alternative to the 10-year life expectancy of an in-situ escalator or moving walkway modernisation. Long-term maintenance is easily achieved as Jackson bespoke escalators and moving walkways are all installed with open protocol quality equipment.

We look forward to our future with the Meteor Löher family and the long-term exciting opportunities this collaboration brings to the UK.

Mustafa Karaman, Meteor Löher GM, expressed his opinions about this collaboration:

“As Meteor Industry Group, we are very pleased to bring the Löher brand together with Jackson, the UK’s largest independent lift, escalator and cradle maintenance company. We are all very pleased to continue with our positive relationship which has been built through the outstanding projects we have executed together in the past. Our collective motivation and enthusiasm will undoubtedly demonstrate ongoing excellent results of this long-term collaboration.”
