We have a vacancy for an Engineering Surveyor to join Jackson Lift Group, based in the Manchester region.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our upgrade and major repair sales team. The successful applicant will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking site surveys.
- Establishing the technical feasibility of projects.
- Determining the engineering and product requirements.
- Preparation of estimates and technical specification lists.
- Assisting the sales team with pricing projects from client brief and drawings.
- Assisting the sales team with the preparation of commercial offers.
Essential and desirable requirements:
- Proven experience in the lift industry.
- A strong bias or interest in lift engineering, with a knowledge of third party lift products.
- Be highly self-motivated and have the ability to work with a small, successful team.
- Be able to closely and effectively communicate within the existing sales team and clients.
- Pre-employment checks and an enhanced DBS check (additional vetting may be required).
- Full UK driving licence.
