Friendly, local service… nationwide
Across the entire county of Lancashire, Jackson is proud to employ locally based, experienced lift and escalator engineers to maintain, repair, and modernise a broad range of lifts, escalators, and disability access lifts. Our engineers work across the region and cover all customer sectors, providing a reliable, friendly, and responsive service. We serve Accrington, Blackburn, Blackpool, Burnley, Clitheroe, Colne, Darwen, Lancaster, Morecambe, Ormskirk, Preston and Skelmersdale.
Although it was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and was once a world leader in textile manufacturing, Lancashire now has some of the UK’s and global best-known names in engineering and aerospace, including BAE Preston and Rolls-Royce in Barnoldswick. Lancashire is also the manufacturing base for AB World Foods, who produce Patak’s products along with other well-known sauces. One of the largest employers in Lancashire is the NHS, where Jackson maintains multiple passenger and essential lifts, including those at the University of Central Lancashire (Preston).

Maintenance Visits
All routine maintenance visit scheduling is undertaken remotely via our national lift maintenance database. Day-to-day management of our engineers and general enquiries relating to the contracts we manage in Lancashire is undertaken from our Manchester office.
Local Engineers Serving Local and National Clients in Lancashire
Wherever possible, Jackson maintains a policy of employing local and experienced lift maintenance engineers who live within easy commuting distance to the customers that we serve. This allows our local engineers the opportunity to get to know the equipment they maintain and the customers we serve. We consider this to be a great benefit to our customers, as it assists with continuity and helps reduce travel time, which allows us to quickly respond to call-out requests.
