Recycling Samsung Tablets to local schools

As a family-owned and run business, Jackson has always supported local community services that have a direct connection to our employees. So, when it came to deciding how best to recycle our engineers’ Samsung tablets, charging stations and tablet cases to benefit a local community service, we thought of Kent, as a significant number of our employees live in this county.

Many of these employees have families with school-aged children, so we approached Our Lady of Hartley Catholic Primary School in Longfield and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Northfleet, both of which are in Kent. We offered them this very usable equipment. In each case, the school was delighted with our offer and confirmed that the Samsung tablets would be of great help in the classrooms.

We delivered the tablets to each school, with Julia Jackson arriving for the handover, and greeted with thanks and appreciation from the schools’ principals.
