Jackson offers a range of standard and bespoke escalator and moving walkway solutions, for the installation of new equipment. All of our escalator and moving walkway solutions are specifically designed and manufactured for the environments and duty requirements of the various locations they are intended for.

These include shopping centres, offices, public and infrastructure locations where high reliability and long-life expectancy are prerequisites of the manufacturing process.

Our specialist Sales Engineers will work with you and your consultants (if required) to assist with recommendations and to ensure the design and specifications needed will deliver the level of service that you require. With regards to specifications, we offer customers a wide range of finishes including cladding, decking, skirting, balustrades, lighting, and power-saving options including BREEAM.

Basic specifications for Jackson escalator and moving walkways:

  • Height range: 2 to 10 metres
  • Inclination: (Escalators) 30 and 35 degrees
  • Inclination: (Moving walkways) 10, 11 and 12 degrees
  • Inclination: (Walking Path) 0 to 6 degrees
  • 600mm, 800mm or 1000 mm step widths
  • Cladding in electrostatic paint, stainless steel, glass and special solutions
