Jackson team up for a Care Home Halloween event in Kent

Jackson are very proud of the long-standing relationships we have with many of the U.K.’s social housing associations and care home operators. But it isn’t just the relationships we have directly with our clients that are important.

With Jackson routinely visiting care homes to undertake scheduled lift maintenance, our engineers frequently get to know many of the homes’ residents. This is exactly the case for one of the care homes in Kent that we visit. When our maintenance admin team found out that the home was planning to have a Halloween event, we just had to join in.

Two of the Jackson team, Matt and Chloe, who look after the day-to-day administration for this care home, jumped straight in and volunteered to join in as fully dressed-up entertainers for the event.

We were all delighted to hear from the housing association’s compliance manager, who organised the event, about the delight and enjoyment experienced by all of the residents, many of whom actively participated in the fun.

Many thanks for your remarks, Sharon:

“I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Jackson for making today such a great success – the residents absolutely loved it!

A special shout-out goes to Matt and Chloe, who truly went above and beyond. Not only did they join in the fun and games, but they also embraced the Halloween spirit with their costumes. They were both fantastic, and the residents couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed their company!

Thank you again for providing the food and prizes – it was all very much appreciated, and a big thank you from the scheme to Lee, who maintains the lifts.”
