Lift maintenance for an NHS Trust

Jackson are very proud of the long-standing relationship we have with the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, which includes the Royal Stoke University Hospital. For a significant period, Jackson local engineers working from our Lichfield facilities have been providing lift maintenance and call-out services for the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

The hospital, one of the largest in the country, has more than 1,300 beds, employs over 6,000 staff and is the main teaching hospital for the Keele University School of Medicine.

Apart from providing lift maintenance services for the hospital, Jackson have also undertaken various modernisation projects at the Royal Stoke, the most recent relating to a duplex pair of 2500kg passenger and bed lifts serving the ground and first-floor.

Whilst Jackson have maintained a long and positive relationship with this NHS Trust, we still have to follow the Trust’s requirements to routinely tender for the lift maintenance contract and modernisation work. Our local team are well-known for the level of service provided by our engineers and their compliance with the Trust’s safe working standards. We believe our partnership approach towards maintenance contracts, supported by competitive pricing, has helped us being regularly awarded Royal Stoke’s lift maintenance contract.
