Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is the Mental Health Foundation’s annual Mental Health Awareness Week, something Jackson fully supports, as it reflects on our own health and safety policy which includes mental health in the workplace.

This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week focuses on movement and exercise as part of a daily routine to improve mental health, quality of life, and wellbeing.

Jackson employs over 600 people, most of whom have jobs that involve non-desk-based physical activity, for these employee’s exercise is generally not an issue. However, for those of our staff holding desk-based positions, we encourage them to use their break periods to leave their desks and move around to improve both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Jackson is proud to support the Mental Health Foundation’s annual Mental Health Awareness Week. To find out more please follow this link: https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/our-work/public-engagement/mental-health-awareness-week
