Installations Engineering Project Supervisor (Midlands/North)

We have a vacancy for an Installations Engineering Project Supervisor, based in the Midlands or Northern office. Ideally, candidates should have a proven technical expertise and leadership skills in the lift engineering sector and will be responsible for:

  • Engineering projects alongside our drawing office and management team.
  • Supervise and coordinate lift engineers on-site to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets, reporting any issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including risk assessments, method statements, and daily logs.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Installation Manager and will include, but will not be limited to, the following.

  • Undertaking surveys as necessary.
  • Purchasing of all materials via the company’s database.
  • Attending design and progress meetings with the client team.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks on lift installations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and resolve any site-related issues.

As always, personality and customer care are of vital importance. However, in the modern environment, the ability to properly communicate electronically through email, customer internet-based portals and other electronic media requires the successful applicant to have the following basic skills:

  • Either 5 GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) at level A to C or relevant proven experience.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and internal departments
