I am pleased to report that after three years of consecutive wins by Kone we regained the old golf cup on Sunday 16 September 2007.
The match is an annual event which has been played since 1989. The match scores are now stand at nine wins to eight in favour of Jackson.
Our win this year was dedicated to the memory of Jackson's Peter La Roche who died in tragic circumstances on August Bank Holiday Monday. Peter was a regular member of our team and will be greatly missed, special thanks to the Kone team for their kind words.
Well done to our team and captain Gary Plant.
We look forward to the match next year and the resumption of our friendly rivalry with Kone
